Is there anyway I can dial back the clock speed at boot to 1.5GHz? My phone just can't handle 1.8GHz and I can't boot 99% of the time.
Is WiFi working?

I am on T-MoUS, TrickDroid 4.0 by troxx, 1.82 radio.
See post #37

Just reflash your according boot.img. It's the standard kernel with 1.5 GHz. The WiFi problem can only be fixed by HTC, as there are no sources available atm.

Thanks, but I still like to try the Virtuous kernel. I will just need to use a lower clock speed.

I wish it defaulted to stock, then people could set their preferred clock speed after boot.

If it didn't boot to 1.8GHz I could set it to something like 1.6GHz after boot. Currently, though, I can't get it to work long enough to launch SetCPU.

Just keeps getting better and better....Great work MDJ

What settings are getting you guys the best results? and what are you using to control the kernel? Because none of my settings are sticking with any kind of controller. I'm using 8X and trickdroid(tmob version)
I dropped SetCPU as there seem to be some problems with entering Deep Sleep mode on ICS. That was already some time ago!

Mdeejay recommends CPU Editor, so do I and probably many others. Another point is to make settings sticky. About this please read here. Take you some time, read the whole thread.

So which settings do I prefer? Everything thats makes the battery last longer... ;-)

As you can see on the attached pics success and failure can be pretty close (yellow marks). lol

Hey MDJ, I was wondering bro, does your kernels modify the oom settings? I wanna make sure Zydroid ROMs don't have conflicting scripts running...

I tried using that but the settings wouldn't stick. I am using a T-mobile based rom though.
