Can you get into download mode?

today i try upgrade my device from froyo to gingerbread
and i have problem..my device was crash and i can't power on my phone
anybody can guide me how to re install my device to factory setting?

if you can't get into download mode, but are seeing a pc & phone icon, just go straight to odin. If your device won't even power on, you're hard bricked. :-(
