I've just upgraded my Galaxy S3 (GT i9300) to the most recent milestone (4.3.1) and so far, I'm loving the active display feature. The problem is that if active display catches a notification and displays it, but I don't get to it in time and have to unlock my phone the normal way, the notification disappears. If I have my phone out and see active display go off, it's fine, but if not, I often have no idea I've just recieved a text until I actually check the messaging app myself!
It seems like in displaying the notification, active display is somehow signalling to the system that it's been read, so doesn't need to be in the status bar any more. Any ideas on how to sort this? I love the feature, but it's unusable for me as it is at the moment!
