Android Calendar vs. Play store Google calendar.

If I copy the stock android calendar and paste it to system\apps, will I have problems using that calendar version in CarbonRom? I want to do this for applying an inverted color theme I'm using.

I prefer 'not' to have the widget calendar events have the white background.
