It seems that no matter what rom I'm on, and no matter how many times I've completely wiped data/cache/etc......within the past 5 months my phone absolutely refuses to connect to any wifi point. At home, work, a friends house, anywhere. It attempts to connect, says connecting, then says its disconnected. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it even possible for your phone's "wifi" to be forever broken?

I've tried all sorts of kernels as well. Never used to be a problem. Fails with froyo and GB. Its not my router either (I dont think). Two computers, a nook, two wiis, and an ipad have no prob connecting to it. My phone is slowly dying I suppose. Upgrading to something by next month anyway. I'll have to fully retire it when I upgrade if wifi can't work.

I'm on the newest Project Elite rom and i'm trying a few different kernels. Seeing if anything changes

Thats cool. Not everything lasts forever. And believe me, I've made this phone jump through hundreds of hoops. I'm surprised more isn't broken
