I thought it was just me. I've been using mine for 9 months now, flashing since day one. The wifi just doesn't connect like it used to. Timeouts and access points disappearing and reappearing at random. I've tried all sorts of different roms, kernels, and router settings and it's still the same. Although I just flashed back to bb0.6.2 and it seems a lot better but still not like it used to be.

I have had the exact same problem as you consistently since i bought my droid
the one thing i noticed, was that i could never use my homes wifi or work
but when i went over my friends house, it worked
the only difference between the networks ive noticed, is that my friend doesn't use any password on his while @ work and home i use a wpa password
i haven't tried changing the network setting on the router at home to confirm this, mainly because if i did, people wuld be jackin my net :tongue3:
but could anybody else test this theory??

Works, so far no issues. Never bothered trying that cause I was worried about security, but I filtered all the mac addresses so only my devices can access it. Cool thanks for the tip. Plus I can open it up see if any of my neighbors connect and start sniffin around...

Edit: Was working great on bugless beast but whenever I try a gingerbread rom the problems come back. I guess cause most people have data plans this hasn't really been a priority. I've been dealing with these issues on all the latest gb roms I've flashed.
