regarding the MMS send / receive issue:

it appears to be carrier specific.
following some advice from other members on XDA, found how to fix this issue. xda has all the answers.
so i did, and rebooted. and all works now.

AOKP now has 0 issues in my experience with it, besides minor crap like nav buttons not being "instant" when toggled after a reboot. no big deal. still under construction.

I have noticed issues with the camera, specifically video capture. I took a video of my kids last night and the screen looked strange. Then when I went to play it back it was all squished and my kid looked small and wide. Also, if I try to capture a video with the attach button in MMS camera crashes.

Thanks

I Have installed build 31 on my at&t captivate, seems great and pretty fast. but my in-call audio quality is pretty bad, this has happened to me with a couple firmwares before, is there a way to fix this? update a modem or something?
Thanks.

Using Build 32, any music player (Music, Winamp), MusicFX & Bluetooth headset (I think it did it while wired too), I get constant drop outs of audio. At first I thought it was the Bluetooth radio, so I flashed multiple radio's but the problem always persisted.

I finally found that by switching to Google Play Music (CM9 Music is such a CPU hog!) and DSP Manager from this thread fixes things just nicely. No more drop outs and a music player that works properly with all 3 of my BT devices (2 vehicles and a headset).

I'm not sure if the problem was device specific or not, but now it is at least fixed!

AOKP my pc does not recognize my external sdcard

Hello,
I am a new member here and a new user of AOKP. I am also a member at XDA. AOKP is in my opinion right on the leading edge o f development. You guys rock.
That being said i have a small issue going on and can't find a solution. I have searched RootxWiki, XDA, Google.

My phone is a Captivate with AOKP B33 with Trusello Community Essentials.

On AOKP my pc does not recognize my external sdcard. On my phone the card is recognized and files are available and usable, no problem there. They are in /emmc. Verified with root explorer.
I've read the FAQ about the fast charging setting...It is not enabled I believe the issue would be different if it was. I re-flashed several times. full wipe always, same result. Tried flash back to B32 same result with or without the Community Essentials. Flashed to stock and both cards are recognized. Flashed Dark Knight 4 and Docs Master ICS V8 both cards are recognized. I feel like I am missing something simple but can't come up with an answer. I did see a post stating that MTP needs to be set in storage>menu but I don't see that setting , I don't get anything when I press menu while in the storage screen. My apologies if this should be posted elsewhere, I wasn't sure it should go to bugtracker, I would have thought it would have been an issue for others already. Hope I can get some help here, doesn't look like this Captivate thread gets a lot of activity/attention but as I stated, I wasn't sure where else to post this.
Thanks any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Just found that there are other users in the Galaxy S forum with the same issue. Surprised that didn't show up when I searched earlier. apparently been an issue since B31 Guess I missed it in the bugtracker.

EDIT: This workaround was mentioned in the Galaxy S forum by jonathan_m84, it did work for me, another user said it did not work for him. YMMV.

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]Download the app Multi Mount SD-Card lite from the playstore and install the widget on your home screen."[/background]

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]EDIT: Found this posted by sinichi21 in the Captivate AOKP thread over at XDA. [/background]

"[background=rgb(251, 248, 244)]you can try to go to cwm and then choose glitch then the USB option there choose the mtp mode see if that will help."[/background]

[background=rgb(251, 248, 244)]This worked, not quite as expected it sees "USB STORAGE" and "SDCARD" instead of as removable drives no big deal. It showed multiple copies of the folders on the external card. At least the files are accessible by pc now.[/background]

I flashed build 35 earlier and it runs like a dream save one major issue I have. My bluetooth doesn't work in my car anymore. When making hands-free phone calls I can determine when someone is speaking, but the audio sounds like pure static. Wat do?

Has anyone tried build 35 yet? I'm experiencing the problem where my external sd card is not mounted properly (it shows as a subdir of the internal card, so the system thinks I only have total space equaling the internal card size, not internal+external). I've tried the fixes I could figure out how to apply, but still no luck. Anyone know if this is fixed yet in 35?

Been using AOKP MIlestone 5 on my Captivate, and its done everything and more. Extended battery life, ICS, smoother transitions, everything i could ask for. Unfortunately, I've been having problems with and was wondering if I should flash the newest build to fix this. Problems include:
1. Doesnt switch over to phone app when someone calls
2. Small glitch in Messaging where sometimes when I type in a message it doesnt show up, and I have to back out the thread.
3 Everytime I reboot, a warning shows up twice saying 'Unfortunately, System UI has stopped working. This has proven true I think as ROM Control isn't properly working
4. Notification bar and status bar are nonexistant.

I have flash this ROM multiple times to fix this, but I've came up with nothing so far. As for #3, I have not experimented too much with ROM Control, might play around with it before flashing to the newest build. If anyone can help explain what's up with these glitches, whether its the ROM that's doing it or if it's my phone, please, help out.

Thanks.
