also, I've looked for the "feature request" thread, but can't find it. I know, I'm a moron.

anyway, roman- Would it be possible to have the weather info displayed on the left corner of the status bar? I have my clock centered on the status bar, and my dbm # on the right. It would look smart, as well as balance out the status bar.

If not, no worries :)

Edit:
found the feature request thread from the FAQ thread. Thanks brainfire :)

OK, absolutely loving the weather on the lockscreen!!!

Now that I have the weather on the lockscreen, is there a way to disable it from being displayed on the pulldown shade? Really don't need it two places.

roman, I've noticed that on b26 that the quick torch works much better for me. I could always get it to work using the tap-tap-hold down method, but now it works just fine as intended. Did you do some work with it on this build?

I asked last night, but no answer for this one yet:

Since the weather is now displayed on the lockscreen (awesome!), is there a way to disable the weather info on the pulldown shade? Don't really need it in two places.

Not currently as far as I've seen. The only weird thing with weather for me is Yahoo is saying 10 degrees colder than Google and AccuWeather which is weird. I have a digital thermometer outside and it matches Google and AccuWeather.
alright, thanks for the response/ confirmation. It's not a big deal at all, just thought maybe I was overlooking a setting somewhere. With all the customizations of AOKP, it's easy to miss something :)

My weird observation of the new weather setup:
My lockscreen weather seems to operate perfectly: It shows the weather conditions and the location, as I've set it, BUT the pulldown shade only shows the weather, not the location. Maybe that's the proper behavior for it, I don't know, but what's weird is when I first flashed B26 last night, it DID show the location, and now it doesn't.

I don't really care, just found that curious. It's such a great new feature, I will use it constantly.

I'm not sure if Verizon is having data issues in my area or if b26 us causing the issues but im having serious issues with 3g. Taking a few minutes to connect after boot, randomly losing connection with the only fix being a reboot, and dropping down to 1x in places where I previously had 4 bars of 3g. Im hoping its just vzw. Gonna ride it out either way and see if things settle down

hm, had a similar issue when I flashed B26 last night. I saw 1X, then no data for the first time since I flashed the 4.0.4 radios. It's been just fine since, though :)

Couple of bugs in this release it looks like, immediate plans include:
  • fix music layouts
  • fix face unlock
  • remove trackball support, it only introduced bugs
I think I'm in the minority, but I actually liked the trackball support/ notification light on with the screen on.

Why? When I use Alarm Clock Plus for my dock display, the notification light still works. So when I walk into the room and the phone is on the dock with Alarm Clock Plus display on, I can still see if the notification light is on or not.

But if it introduces bugs....BE GONE!

thanks for being so diligent and attentive to the community, roman.

The way it's implemented is the problem. You will be able to use the light flow app. Does the same thing, cleaner and better.

Can you explain what you mean, or how light flow can accomplish this? Ive looked through the settings but can't see how that would work.

The way it's included currently requires it to be cooked into the rom. It's buggy at best. Light flow works well and doesn't bug out. It also gives the end user more control.

but I looked into my Light flow settings, and "Trackball Control" is greyed-out, saying the hardware doesn't support that option.

Has anyone else had issues with the swagger toggle disappearing and not wanting to display even though it is selected? I really loved that thing :D

Confirmed. Now you see it, now you don't.

Although, I must add: I can confirm that I, in point of fact, still have swagger.

Ok... last NavBar Tease. Someone asked earlier about keeping the menu button in the task bar when NavBar is hidden: I might could do it, but it would be easier to just add the menu button to the PowerDialog. which is what I've done.

All buttons now work. Let me test-drive this for a bit, and if nothing breaks, I'll see if Roman can include in next build.

is the menu button what's on the left highlighted?

it looks awesome ZB!

idk about anyone else, but my "back" button is on the left (with home in the middle spot)- it would be more consistent to have it with the same placement on the power menu.

thoughts?

edit:
so would the only buttons that we enable in the nav bar show up in the power menu? can we orient them the same we have in our nav bar?

Just got back to Android...went on a sabbatical with an iPhone, but I'm back now. Great rom !!! I've found nothing negative on this, and tons of positives. Donation on the way. Thanks Kang team.
congrats on getting unplugged from the Matrix! :)
