Do I need to flash Gapps if I'm not wiping? (coming from build 25)

Yes flashing the ROM wipes /system which is where GAPPS are located.

I have a weird question that doesn't exactly pertain to AOKP but I'd like your thoughts.

Back in the old days, when flashing a rom I'd be fully charged to not screw up the battery stats, but with the GNex I've heard that there really are no battery stats to worry about.

So my question is, do you all fully charge before flashing?

I don't. I flash no matter what as long as I have enough battery to get it flashed and set up.

Build 26 is worth flashing just for the weather lock screen. Handy being able to check the temp without unlocking.

You can check weather on 25 without unlocking, just wake and pull down notification bar until weather shows.

This is a very minor question. On initial boot of B26 the boot animation was not full screen like usual. (I want the unicorn to be big! ) Any thoughts?

Hey all,

Super noob question - go easy on me.

I flashed the OTA 4.0.4 to toro (IMM30B). Was going to flash this and either Franco or imoseyon's kernels..

Will this build put 4.0.3 radios in and/or does anyone see a problem going from 4.0.4 to this build?

I'll be wiping davlik and wiping/factory resetting.

Wipe /system /data /cache and /dalvik cache if coming from another ROM. Also it won't touch your radio files as it is only a ROM. Also ensure you download and flash gapps right after you flash the ROM before rebooting. Any kernel out there can work with this ROM (minus the rare 4.0.2 kernels lol).

I asked last night, but no answer for this one yet:

Since the weather is now displayed on the lockscreen (awesome!), is there a way to disable the weather info on the pulldown shade? Don't really need it in two places.

Not currently as far as I've seen. The only weird thing with weather for me is Yahoo is saying 10 degrees colder than Google and AccuWeather which is weird. I have a digital thermometer outside and it matches Google and AccuWeather.

Swagger can't be removed by a simple clearing of cache my friend. However kids can damage it ;-) lol.

ugh, Facebook push notifications are kicking my *ss!
ive tried re-installing through the market as the FAQ mentions, but still no dice, ive tried other things too like restoring from TiBu, clearing cache and data from the settings, installing messenger app by itself, and nothing is working.
Gonna try to get the girlfriend to sign me in through her blackberry to enable notifications like i read on android central later.
ill post back if i get any results
