Can you make a rom for the Electrify M XT901 ?.
Downloading now, am a GSM user so I'll let you know how well that works. This phone is a dream as far as GSM work compared to getting the XT862 Droid 3 onto GSM :p

EDIT: Hm... after inserting a sim card, it required a reboot, then bootlooped at the unlocked bootloader warning and had to hold Power + Volume down to shutdown and get back to recovery...
Pretty damn nice if you ask me. Not too shabby for a first release

Nice work. Ill try it later on today or tomorrow.

Runs smoothly and almost everyting is working. Good enough for a DD, awesome sign for an early release.
MMS is not working, and sometimes media scan does not work. I would delete pics in the gallery and they would remain in the folder when I go thru it with root explorer.

Besides that, it's my daily driver. I'm loving it.
microSD card works in a "read only" in the absence of ROOT rights.
Correspondingly applications that do not have the ability to request Root - can not write, delete, ...
MMS does not accept.

Many thanks for the work done! Good luck and promotions!
I'd like to second the request for this to be optimized for the xt901. As the spouse of a US Cellular customer, i must say these poor folks have so little to look forward to, they deserve a good rom for such a capable phone that's destined to be abandoned by the carrier with 4.1 at best.

EDIT:Just to be clear, going to AOSP (more specifically, unlocking bootloader) on this device does not kill 4G correct? This was the case on my Motorola Photon 4G but I've heard this tradeoff depends on the manufacturer.

Any other GSM users have this problem? Any GSM users manage to get this working?

Going to AOSP or unlocking the bootloader will not kill 4G but if you have taken an OTA update in the past 4 months or so its too late. Big Red put a patch out that blocked the motopocalypse bootloader unlock exploit.

Actually, in this case, the US Cellular, sister-phone of the XT907 has 4G issues, but it's unrelated to the bootloader unlock. It's an issue with suspend&resume function on the AOSP ROMs.

I made workaround for it for the time being which allows us to get stable LTE on the US Cellular model while running AOSP ROMs from ICS to KitKat.
I'm running TWRP 2.6.3.0 but every time I try to flash the 4.4 rom it fails. It tells me that it can't mount system and modem. then I have to format data and restore the phone. Anyone else having this issue?
do NOT mount system prior to flashing

my steps:

copy ROM/GApps/su update zip to external_sd directory

reboot recovery (do NOT update SU)

mount system

wipe cache/dalvik/data/system/internal storage

reboot recovery

install ROM

install GApps

install SU update zip

reboot system

This has become my DD. It's amazing; thanks! Issues I've noticed:

1 - Bluetooth (A2DP) audio streaming sounds like an old 33 LP. There's some sort of very noticeable static.

2 - External SD card is not recognized by the camera nor by music syncing apps (I've tried a few).

But the overall performance is so good I'm going to live with the few issues.
