Hey guys,

I haven't seen too many lists of frozen apps/apk's for the dx2. So I figured I would post what I have done. I used root explorer to change the .apk to .bak. I have had no problems with my phone, but I don't guarantee that you won't.

Just curious, why not just delete some/all of them?

Still looking for a better reason to post from anything other than the OG

The og is a perfect device, keep it until something better comes along, like a quad core toaster phone :D

you will not be able to update to an official OTA if one file is missing. to me it is easier to just rename them so that you can easily restore them when an update is available. if you delete them make sure to backup the files to your memory card or PC because you will need them for an official update.
