Thanks again akellar for prompting me to try this out.

They are flashable in CWM and install the bootanimation.zip file to the system/media folder - this will work with 4.0.2 ROMs and earlier - the 4.0.3&4 ROMs require a different data mount - Specified by download.

General Disclaimer: If you choose to flash any of these files you take it upon yourself to know what you are doing. The files and scripts have been tested and do work. I took the plasma one and modified it a bit for ICS Nexus. I figured I would just share it here. It bulked up a bit because I couldn't get it to work with JPEG for some reason so I switched to PNG. If you want to clean it up a bit that would be cool but definitely don't have to, it seems to run fine.

About the stock boot animation you have in your post. is that the HD version? Could you add that too? I love the hd version
Jeez man these boot animations are phenomenal. By far the best ever I have ever seen. Thank you very much!!!

I can try to bump the image quality up on the Nexus S boot.. It may work it may wash out..

Edit/Update - I took the original pngs re-orientated to and stretched them to the 720x1280 for the Gnex.. That is as close as I can get without producing some really unpleasant artifacts.. Link
I didn't try flashing in recovery but i can't get them to work on AOKP 4.0.3 rom via root explorer.

Are you setting the permissions to : rw- r--r-- ?

Its a little ruff. Definitely not as smooth as what you see on here. Its nice thought! If you could give the nexus X the nexus colors that would be awesome too(along with smoothing it out)!
Hey Graphics Guru, these are great, thank you for your work!!! Quick question though, I tried using your animations through root explorer, and I loose my slider lock. So I thought maybe I flash it in recovery, the same outcome, loose my screen lock. Any idea? I am on axiom2.1, and if I put the default animation back from that rom, the lock is there. Thank you in advance.
Quick guess it would have to do with the launcher incorporated into the ROM. I make no special adjustments to any of my boots.

Thanks. I do have the Nova launcher, so that must be it. Thank you again.

EDIT: If someone has this problem, just clear app (nova launcher) data, and it is fixed.

Yep, set permissions to rw-r--r-- just got a black screen .

Are you sure you're extracting the bootanimation.zip file out of the file you downloaded, and placing it in to /system/media w/ rw-r--r--? I'm using AXI0M 2.1, and what you're describing sounds like what happened to me when I just renamed the file I downloaded to bootanimation.zip and stuck it there, with the correct permissions...DOH!

Hit thanks if that was it! ;-)
