Hi,

My phone just started boot-looping into CWM 6.0.4.4 yesterday. As far as I'm aware, I hadn't installed or done anything new in the last month or so.

I've cleared the cache, data, and sideloaded new/different ROM's. Thus far, it continues to only boot into CWM.

I've tried everything listed here: http://howtorootmobile.com/stuck-in-android-boot-loop-tips-to-fix-recover-from-boot-loop/ as well as a handful of options from various other sites.

I've also tried removing the battery, for anywhere from a minute to over two hours.

Anyone have any advice? I'd really, really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Probably whatever kernel you were using (if it wasn't a stock one), had some sort of serious hidden bug that manifested itself and corrupted your system. That or you used one of those kernels that unfortunately allows disabling fsync (or worst, disables it by default) and your device lost power unexpectedly before everything was saved in the system.

Just restore it back to stock: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/faq/FAQ00052690/61265/

I've seen KIES floating around in retrospect. That looks good.

However, I am vaguely concerned that neither KIES or KIES3 recognize GT-I9505G as a model number. Thoughts?
