Hello!

We've merged all the changes from Android 4.0.4 into AOKP. Build 29 is Android 4.0.4 and will be released on a per-device basis for testing purposes. We may not get to all the devices, so just sit tight, everything will be back to normal for build 30!

Change log
  • Updated to Android 4.0.4 (IMM76D)
  • Added Honeycomb lockscreen
  • Mediascanner improvements
  • Lockscreen calendar improvements
  • Probably tons of other stuff I didn't see because of the merge
Issues to expect
  • Custom settings in contact probably don't work
  • Mms AOKP customizations have not returned yet
  • Other undiscovered bugs. Let us know!
Make sure to wipe coming from any build or milestone or other ROM. This is a new version of Android and you can NOT dirty flash this. Wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe.

Edit: Hijacked post 2 from a dev...sorry AOKP!
Unofficial "Confirmed" Bugs *TORO*
-Lockscreen wallpaper changes result in a Rom Control FC (Maguro as well)
-Lockscreen icon changes result in a FC. Upon turning screen off, it appears to BSOD: and more importantly, a phone that won't boot again; even with a dirty install on top. Data must be wiped and rom reinstalled. (Maguro as well)
-Phone>Settings>Dialpad Settings causes a FC.
-Opening power-controls at the lockscreen and pressing any of the nav-bar options from within power-controls causes the phone to lock up for ~15 seconds. This one is obviously VERY minor...just don't press the power-control buttons on the lockscreen. Sethyx also confirmed that it'll be fixed in the next build.
-"All Day" events are posted a day early on the lockscreen calender and "All day" events of the day show up as the day prior (i.e. "April's Birthday Fri All Day [when the day is now saturday])
-Display>Custom Backlight Settings>Allow Light Decrease toggle appears to not do anything and is enabled by default.

*I hope you guys don't mind me doing this...hopefully it'll make your lives EASIER. This isn't bashing in any way.*

Day 2 impressions:
No problems. Still a strong build.
Loving it.

Themers: Part of the calendar lockscreen layout is hardcoded now, so you can't modify it (gravity, paddings, etc.). This is because of the *hasty* release of B29 / 4.0.4.
It'll be turned into XML in the next release, don't worry. :)

LOL I know the difference between the two.. I was only asking because

"Edit ∞:
Seems you posted the wrong MD5 for maguro above Rome."

I just wanted to be sure.. I am fully aware of which version is which.. I was only clarifying that there wasnt a typo and in fact TORO was available and it was a typo/mistake.
But thank you for your speedy reply, :)

Wiped everything before installation but got trouble with rom controll (a lot settings I've got FC (Navigation Bar Layout or Lockscreen = FC) and when I'll gonna change the switches on the notificationbar I've got the SYNC Switch every time. I'm disabling it - but it stays there :)

Nothing urgend - but it's there on my GSM Galaxy Nexus :)

Setting a custom icon in octo lockscreen force closed my rom controls, now I can't get back into it. GNex Torro Build.

*update* now stuck in a bootloop. -Reflashing in a moment.

So, should we flash this or is it still unstable? o_O
