Build 29 Release notes and changelog [4.0.4 merged!]

Hello!

We've merged all the changes from Android 4.0.4 into AOKP. Build 29 is Android 4.0.4 and will be released on a per-device basis for testing purposes. We may not get to all the devices, so just sit tight, everything will be back to normal for build 30!

Change log

Updated to Android 4.0.4 (IMM76D)
Added Honeycomb lockscreen
Mediascanner improvements
Lockscreen calendar improvements
Probably tons of other stuff I didn't see because of the merge

Issues to expect

Custom settings in contact probably don't work
Mms AOKP customizations have not returned yet
Other undiscovered bugs. Let us know!

Make sure to wipe coming from any build or milestone or other ROM. This is a new version of Android and you can NOT dirty flash this. Wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe.

I hope he will release B30 tomorrow. I think there are some minor problems. B30 will be more stable. I will install afterwards.

Just an update from someone who has basically re setup their phone from B28. All RC settings work fine except for what's mentioned in Post#2. Everything feels very smooth and 4G is up from 2 bars to 4 at my desk, at work. I will update with more findings as they come.

Side note, I flashed the stock 4.0.4 ROM last night and battery seems MUCH better (Had phone sleep for an hour and didn't lose a single percent). I don't know if this will carry over to AOKP but I expect that it should.

Other than the two RC settings, what problems are you noticing?

Thanks Roman - Work great so far.
This what I did:
Backup Apps+Data in Titantium
Boot to recovery
Wipe Cache and Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Installed Firmware
Install Gapps
Rebooted
Did not log onto my Gmail account.
Install Titantium and restore Apps+Their Data
Rebooted
Signed into Google
Installed latest Franco Kernel Nightie
Rebooted
So far so good

Ok this is odd. While the file downloads, it says that it's 123mb. When it's done, it's only 23mb on my drive. Anyone run into this?

Sounds like your data is cutting out while it is downloading, surprised it's not saying the download failed as it should.

Dial Pad Option couse Phone to crash.
No more able to change the color of the navigation bar.

I found that I cannot update nova launcher to 1.0.2. It says ERROR your order is processing, your item will be available in a few minutes. Even though I am able to download other apps with no problem.
Also noticed that widgets keep disappearing and wont stick. Could be restoring from backup from 1.0.2 on 1.0.1.

I'm trying another browser. If I still have issues, I'll try this from home. Torrents get blocked at work.

As a matter of fact, I haven't flashed the new ROM yet. Because of that I don't know. I will use my phone for my NY trip and I won't have my PC with me.
I want something more stable. I think there will be a release today or tomorrow.

Finnally something that is downloading. The last mirror was a maguro and I didn't notice i jumped into their thread.
