I am trying to get this to work and I am trying to copy a fie to the /system/lib, my phone is rooted but everytime i try it says it failed. What do i need to do.

It took me forever to get this working on my new X2 after an "upgrade" from my old X so I thought I'd help others that might be having the same issues. I found the tun.ko by looking for the Atrix 4G tun.ko for the same kernel version as they are almost the same phone. This worked for me on the 2.6.32.9 kernel running Eclipse v0.5 and v0.6 as well as stock rom, as long as you're rooted.

- Download the tun.ko from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013513 I've reposted it here to make it easy for everyone: View attachment 3041
- Using Root explorer mount the /system/lib/ folder as read write.
- Using Root explorer copy the tun.ko file into /system/lib/ folder
- Using Root explorer change the permissions to match the other files in the folder
- Install the VPNC Widget app from the market.
- That's it, setup the VPN connection and connect.

Isnt there another way for the files to be moved other than root explorer. I know its just a few bucks but I hate paying for software if there is a work around.
