Thought I'd share how to do this, and then also upload the one I'm currently using.

On your device, go to system/media

Make a copy of bootanimation.zip to your PC

Using WINRAR, extract the .zip, not all zip programs will work, but winrar does.

After you extract it, you have 2 folders and one text file.

part1
part0
desc.txt

Open part0, select all images, right clic, and select ROTATE COUNTERCLOCKWISE. You can rotate them the other direction for regular landscape.

Do the same for part1.

Select both folders and the .txt file.

Right click and and select ADD TO ARCHIVE

Select the option .ZIP, and select STORE for the compression method.

Leave everything else as is.

Name the file bootanimation.zip

On your device, rename the existing .zip to .bak, for backup.

Copy and paste your new .zip into the folder you took it from, system/media

FIX PERMISSIONS won't work, you need to set them yourself to the correct permissions...

Reboot and enjoy...

Here is the reverse landscape one I'm using in blue. - Non Flashable - 480 X 480 (much smaller on screen)

Here is the stock blue one in Landscape - Non Flashable - 800 X 800 (standard size for nexus 7)

If you make one in a different color, please share.

I don't know if I'll get any more of these up. I'm running a windows 8 machine and it doesn't seem to want to work correctly when I do these off of that machine now. The 2 above I did on my old Windows 7 machine.

Here is a list of some good ones out there, in other colors.

If you can get them working correctly with the above instructions, please upload them here.
