Excellent, thanks. Problem identified and fixed, SK2 later today.mgregor said:http://pastebin.com/bCf6RhEY
Is it correct? I'm doing this first time
Phone hangs. Only remove battery helps.
I can't disable vibration. In Menu -> Cyanogenmod setting I've deleted all the steps in touch settings and restarted phone. And vibration still works.
No, it's just the lack of DHCP.dreamind said:For WiFi problems, its possible that these are related to not having a correct MAC-Address, because when I've played with the standard and Nova ROM, I've figured out, that the hardware does not have anywhere the real mac of the WiFi card written.
On the standard ROM and on Nova, the MAC is located in "/data/misc/wifi/config". There was for me something like:
cur_etheraddr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Install the aLogcat application from Market. I need the radio log for this (In the aLogcat app, open Preferences and choose the "Radio" buffer)dreamind said:Hi,
I have few issues with this Cyanogenmod Build for the Optimus Black.
- after rebooting it seems to ask 2 times for the PIN for my SIM
- it doesn't show any up/down activity on the GSM or HSDPA icon
- it seems to hang every ~ 5 minutes and I couldn't yet dump any useful information via recovery because even when I took out the battery, its not booting into recovery at next boot.
I've flashed the Zip and gapps after wiping all user data (which should wipe cache too).
Thanks & Greetings,
dreamind
Network accounting apps usually fail miserably on non-HTC phones, because they assume wifi interfaces are named "eth0" (which isn't the case of the Black, it's "wlan0"), and mobile data interfaces are named "rmnet0" (not the case of the Black, either, it's "vsnet0").tudy23 said:Hi Ricardo, i've just installed your CM7 port and I want to say that it is awsome. Even so, I have 1 problem with one app, with "3G Watchdog" which can't see my trafic data as it doesn't count it. I installed it twice already and it's still a no go. Besides that and the haptic problem wich I've seen you solved it totally rocks, thanks man, keep up the good work.
Even if I disable feedback in sound phone vibrates.arcee said:Excellent, thanks. Problem identified and fixed, SK2 later today.
About vibration (which happens to be the cause of your problem), you can disable it in Settings -> Sound (Disable Haptic Feedback)
I can't reproduce this... As soon as I disable haptic, it stays disabled. No screen feedback, and no button feedback either.naeem86 said:i agree with mgregor. even if vibration is turned off, it continues to vibrates! but its not a big deal for me! thanks for your work man!![]()
