If you need to access youtube you can do it through opera mobile. Make sure you have the latest adobe flash player working. If you have dolphin hd make sure it is on desk top mode. It works for me. Temporary fix.

I know I'm only 2 hours into the battery cycle, but my stats seems to be reporting much more true.

This morning I;
sbf'd to Froyo
Installed fresh Nightly4 after clean wipe
Running JuiceDefender Pro (always do with custom profile)
Undervolted

Seems after all this stats seem much better. I was on the TBH All in 1 method before.

Yesterday I got almost exactly 20hrs out of my battery. That included a couple calls, some texts, playing some games, browsing, twitter, tapatalk, reddit, etc. Right before it died I checked the stats and wifi/standby were both at 30% followed by display and some other apps. If I turn off wifi always-on then i'd probably get more life out of it.

You probably want to install the main one first and then the nightly over it just to be safe

It really doesn't matter -- you can install the nightly without installing the original beta, since the nightly completely overwrites whatever you already have installed.

Hello everyone, I am a noob to CM7 but not to flashing roms and SBFing. I was hoping you could answer a few of my questions prior to myself installing nightly build #4.

To start off, I am on rooted Gingy but I am in the process of SBFing back to froyo so I can start clean.

My questions:
-I read that I must install the googleapps package after I install CM7. Does this apply after each and every nightly build as well? Seems tedious if it's the case.
-Is GPS now working after nightly 3 or will I need a separate install zip for it?

I think that is all I have questions about. I'm so excited to try this out. Gingerblur started to get slow on my phone after a month...

Edit: Also, is there anything else I should know about jumping in or is the water fine?

1. nightlies do not erase your gapps, so you just have to install once.
2. gps is working now in nightly #4, so no seperate install needed.
