The gf has an EVO that all of a sudden stopped sending and receiving text messages. Any thoughts on a fix? I was thinking a factory reset?

might also try updating prl, and profile, but if your not receiving text messages, thats a sprint issue. might have to take it in to have them look at it.

If she's on a non-Sense ROM (MIUI, CyanogenMod, etc.) then flashing over to a stock Sense ROM, updating PRL and profile, then sending and receiving a few calls and texts will usually fix this.

If she's on a Sense ROM, then update the PRL and profile, make and receive a few calls, and if it persists, give Sprint a call.
