Team GTP presents Eaton Rom for the HTC Thunderbolt

So you've all been waiting for it and here it is! I know it may have seemed like we've been out of the game but, in actuality we were determined to send thins build out with working power control widgets and that's exactly what we did. Our philosophy has always been to make stable daily driver and this build in not an exception. Testing did not produce any issues and everything is very smooth and quick. We have strayed a tiny bit away from our roots of not theming but thinking about it we just couldn't resist so the rom has a bit of a car theme to it. Also, below are some modifications you can flash for the stock HTC animation and the battery icon with percentage or both combined. If you have any questions feel free to ask

***For anyone that is experiencing random issues try the following fix that worked on another testers phone. pull your pictures and backups(rom manager/ Titanium backup) and any other media (music and ring tones) off you sd card and format it and then put it in your phone and boot the phone back up and move your media back to the phones.***

With this rom you are going to want to use the official mr2 release radio.

Download (flash through clockwork):
http://public.gtpdevs.com/mecha/eatonv1.7/eatonromv1.7.zip
or in ROM Manager under Team GTP

Features:
1.70.605 Base
Deodexed/Rooted/Busybox/Debloated
Added sms backup
Added Titanium Backup
Added Rom Stats (please opt-in only collects what device you are running and rom version)
Removed Recent Apps
Added power control widgets (Very special thanks to sk806 for help with this!)
Added Carbon fiber theme (thank you sopL87)
Removed wood, and metal themes
Modified slate and blackboard themes for consistency in notification pulldown.
Custom notification pulldown (thank you yankindasouth for creating the images for the pulldown!)
Custon "gas guage" battery icon
Removed Gps Icon
Removed usb debugging icon
Added chainfire3d openGL drivers for smoother animations and better overall performance (thank you chainfire)
- You can download chainfire 3d app from the market to manage the drivers but they are preinstalled
Tweaks to system for performance and battery life
Minor edits to build prop.

Planned Features:
Toolbox (we are constantly working on this and hopefully will have it incorporated soon)
A planned release for updates in the theme

Modifications (Flash through clockwork):
Battery icon with percentage - http://public.gtpdevs.com/mecha/eatonv1.7/batterymod.zip
Battery icon with percentage and stock animations - http://public.gtpdevs.com/mecha/eatonv1.7/batteryanimationmod.zip

If you are not currently running the radio and want to flash our rom flash the radio first in hboot. With your phone plugged in to your computer open up adb and use the "adb reboot recovery" command to go right from hboot to clockwork and flash the zip file you downloaded above. If you need help with this just ask and I will walk you through it. Also, if you have any questions at all please feel free to ask on our forums at http://www.gtpdevs.com, we will be more then happy to help fix any issues

[*]If you download our rom and find something we did not credit you for please feel free to send us an email at [email protected] and we will immediately correct it for you. Also, we request that you do not mirror any of our roms without express permission from either yoda1 or GTPdevs.[*]

Have you noticed reduced 4g signal with the new mr2 radio? I am at the DC airport which normally is 4G but I can not get a consistent 4G signal today.

Flashed this last night and have had no issues! 4G is strong for me (as it always is in the Metro Atlanta area), things are just simply working and everything is snappy smooth!!

Look forward to updates/mods, but at the same time enjoying what I have

This was my personal phone's battery life while I was taking a break from deving. It was on wifi, was texting, posting on forums, and tweeting etc. No this is not photoshopped. I was using it about 4/6ths the amount I normally use my phone on a daily basis so getting at least 12-14 hours even off wifi has not been difficult for me and I'm not exactly a light user

Thank you very much Sorry for being absent for a bit, we aren't dead despite what some people might think. We've been hard at work with new projects but I guarantee that tonight we are pushing a stability update to eaton to fix the alarm issue and address several of your concerns. Stability is key with everything we've been trying to do and we'll continue to stick by it.

With that being said, has anyone had any issues to report?
