So, ICS has these beautiful slots for huge, high quality pictures of contacts. But whenever you sync your contacts back to Google (and the person isn't on G+), the pictures get shrunken and compressed.

This seems to be a known issue (http://www.theverge.com/2012/1/4/2681747/terrible-quality-contact-photos-in-android-why-does-this-issue-still), but I've not found a solution anywhere. Do any of you know of a good solution, short of disabling contact sync? Thanks!

I'm with u on this one . This really sucks . Howevere there is an app in play store by the name of HD Contact Photos . I downloaded it but could'nt completely figure it out . If anyone figured it please come over here and do a complete tutorial .
