So my friend and I got into a passionate debate over whether he should replace his aging Moto backflip with one of these new devices. Before you talk about how the GSII isn't released yet, I know already... his contract doesn't provide for an upgrade till the beginning of September.

Anyway, seeing that he wants to just ditch his backflip for a fast device, should he get the infuse or GSII when it comes out on AT&T(samsung attain)? Yes I know that the GSII is more advanced, but he isn't buying it with development or power usage (like I do) in mind. he just wants an all around beast of a phone that gets the job done.

That's just it... he's not going to do the whole rom thing... just basic stock root

Then the infuse should be fine. But with a 2 year contract he may eventually want to root/rom it. I get tired of my rom/theme once every week and a half lol

They are both extraordinary devices, have your tried looking up the specifications located at Samsung.com?

All depends on what each specs mean for you, both are similar though in quality.

attain will be sweet but if he ain't a power user infuse should be fine
