Can someone tell me how to turn off the mobile view for the browser?

You have to change the user type string. Where that is idk. I remember one user said you can get to from like the :about address or something. I'm not sure where its set and there probably isn't an option for the stock browser. Maybe someone has a hacked version or try a different browser from the market

In the address bar type about:debug and hit enter
Go to settings
Go to debug
Go to uastring
Select desktop
You will have to do this every time you start the internet

If you're rooted and Rom'd, it's set to desktop automatically. Also, If you download a browser app such as Dolphin Browser (or Dolphin for Pad) you can change it in the settings and it stays that way even after reboots.
