[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]i tried to root my phone and flash an ICS rom, as you can probably guess i failed. I did this correctly once on my HTC Inspire, but i guess i was lucky. ive spent hours trying to fix it and finally just created an account so i could get a specific answer about my situation. Is my phone done for?[/background]

You will need to downgrade your Hboot to .97 to turn S-ON to S-OFF to enable 3rd party roms to run on your phone.

I recently got a Dinc 2 for fun and I was stumped on this exact issue for 2 days (My HTC Inc was never an issue and I was rusty on HTC devices)

You either need to find a official HTC/Verizon rom from here or at XDA to re flash your phone (PG32IMG.zip)

Once you get your phone up and running check this link out -XDA- to downgrade your Hboot and to use Revolutionary.io to turn S-ON to S-off

*PM me if you need some of the files since I have most of them to correct this same issue I had.
