ICS - Gmail, Mms, Contacts, Email, Calendar, GTalk, Market 3.5.15, YouTube - Inverted and Transparent

Here are 8 of the ICS apps I've inverted and made transparent for TeamHacksungs port. These are all separate installs cause I install my Gmails to data and not everyone wants every app but it's still easy enough if ya want them all...These are all 4.0.3 versions and work on the last few roms I've tried out...Thanks to travP and foxdog for helping me get linux set up so I could start building ROMs from source..

Install guide for Email, Contacts, Calendar, Mms:
These are all system apps and for one reason or another they either need to built from source so in doing that these are just as easy to install as they are to flash. Just simply download the one(s) you want, move them all to system/app (replacing the existing apk) set permissions on each and REBOOT... Shouldn't have any issues installing now.. *Mms is included in the apk install but also as a flash zip..

Install guide for Gmail and YouTube:
If your Gmail is in the system partition use root explorer or titanium backup to uninstall/delete the app and then REBOOT... Then you can install mine like a normal app... Enjoy!

Install guide for Market, Calculator, Mms:

Download the zip(s) you like, move them to a known directory or the root of the sd card, boot into recovery, install zip from sd, choose zip, locate the zip(s) and select one, choose yes, repeat for the rest of the zips... then reboot system after all the zips download...

For anyone wanting to remove the dividers in Mms, here's how I did it: I used the heirarchyViewer.bat from the sdk and found that the surrounding box that encases those dividers is id/message_block so I did a search for that id in layouts and 2 xml's had hits. (message_list_item_send and recv).. I added paddings, layout widths, new dips, added backgrounds, and it just wouldn't change.. Checked out smali but nothing.. I messed with the positioning and ended up with left_middle and right_middle as the source.. Not sure if this is as difficult as I found it to be but in case anyone wants to change that, there ya go..

Install guide for Talk:

For this one you have to flash 2 zips.. the first one is just the res, resources and classes.. The 2nd has the edited Manifest.xml in it.. So download the first zip, flash it in recovery.. verify that Talk.apk is working.. Then download the 2nd link for either Full Holo or Full Transparent and flash it.. That will finish the theme of it...

MARKET

For this one, uninstall updates first if you have the 3.4.6 version. Then go to data/app and make sure you don't have com.android.vending.apk in there anymore.. Then flash the market of your choice. If you lose the market for sure (it's named Black Market or Clear Market) use the stock apk I linked. It will install like a normal app, then move it to system and reboot.. then try reflashing my zip..

Lol, I meant when I flash the zip the MMS.apk disappears or when I push the file to system/app with root explorer I can't find it on the app drawer and in the launcher dock it would say app is not installed, setting and fixing permission doesnt help. Any suggestions?

Edit: I flashed multiple times and I redownloaded multiple times, its still a no go

Just wanna say that these are absolutely stellar dude. One question... Is it just me or with build six stock mms app i have the sms split option for large messages and once i flash the blacked out version I dont... Same for everyone else? Does it just need an update? I cant remember if build 5 stock had that option. Other than that everything works and installed flawlessly!!! Thanks button hit!

For Mms or Gallery issues use my instructions in my last post...

Build 6 has it built in but I haven't inverted it yet... been real busy with stuff but hopefully later today or tomorrow it'll be updated....

Do you think you could create one for exchange email or explain how to get an existing one from another phone to work on the fascinate? I attempted to use the email.apk that travp624 posted in the galaxy nexus theme forums but I could not get it to work with our phone even if I renamed it to emailgoogle.apk, set permissions etc.

related note, this patch to remove security policy from exchange does work on the Fascinate ICS

OP updated... added transparent versions and updated Mms....

For email, I'll look into it but some apks are crapping out on this port... its not fully like the gnex roms.. so email, keyboard, calendar are tough ones... I'll look more into it tho..

Google voice is in the future.. I hate that app cause now I have no real voicemail.. just the gv one... but keep an eye out... TravP did do it so you could always try his for now....

Dude... thank you for updating the mms... quick question, has the gmail been updated too? I was having issues not bieng able to read several emails. As always... these mods are sick!

Thanks for the update.

TravP's google voice and contacts work for me on my fascinate. I believe I had to manually copy over or unpack and install voice as the zip would not work to install it for me but the program does run.

I was also able to get his calendar (and some other apps) working on the fascinate but it involved installing a gapps package from the galaxy nexus rather then the fascinate.

Flashed transparent market over blacked out market and was left with no market lol. Attempted multiple flashes but same results. Flashed blacked out market back and it worked.

On the fascinate they were included so my gapps zip didn't work... i had to use a different one... if you flashed gapps , drop the Vending.apk from the Clear Market zip into the Black Market zip and flash that

I believe they were included in the rom, but I had already flashed version 7.1 as part of my flash routine so unfortunately I'm not sure. I had the regular market, flashed blacked out market(worked), flashed trans. market(didn't work), flashed blacked out again(worked).

Trying now...negative. Same results, let me try something else real quick.

EDIT: No luck, just tried a couple of different ways of getting the trans. vending.apk on the phone but all yield the same result.

Odd... if you have a pc you can try either dropping the stock vending into an update zip and open it and Clear Market with 7zip and drag Res, manifest, resources and classed from mine to the stock one... then flash that...I don't see why it wouldn't work on that phone since it did on mine with no issues...
