1. What about SETCPU?
What about it? You can use w/e cpu OC tool you want
2.Where can I find out whats all in this Kernel?
Click on the link under CHANGELOG, I will update it with every change as they are completed
3.Why dont I get #### in Quadrant?
Quadrant is dated and is easily changed based on I/O and RAM. Use a better Benchmark like Nenamark, Smartbench2011, or Antutu Benchmark.
4.Can I use this is XYZ ROM?
OF COURSE! =} just credit me
5.Where can I get the latest news on anything your Doing?

We'll plan a better time for anyone who wants to help. All people involved will be credited with the end result. Email me @ ecotox8906@gmail.com if you want to help and for any ideas you have. That is NOT a bug report email, its only for those who want to collaborate on this/ also if you just wanna talk thats cool to =D
Its official...I want DMz to be a community effort, I want us to Unite as one to Create the Ultimate rom and kernel for the vibrant/SGS based off of the official Samsung roms =]
Hey guys(&gals) recent events have freed up a significant portion of time for me. Now first things first, how many of you use and really want to have a 1.4/1.5ghz kernel? What I was wanting to do is drop it to 1.3 so as to decrease power consumption and then optimize it for the best GPU performance....@ 1.3 I think we can get the best balance between GPU & CPU
I would be fine with a 1.3ghz max, love it when things are optimized rather than inefficient. However, I'm quite happy with the ULP so I'd imagine I'm not exactly a speed junkie.
I'm back to work after a week of lots of working and a 4th o july vacation
Working on adding 12 new frequencies bringing the total to 25 steps =]
I will be dropping the official 1.5ghz kernel to 1.3ghz but will maintain the source on my github for anyone who wants to compile the kernel with it
Also adding CIFS support and working on FINALLY finishing the ROM this week with my new found free time. Also after the ROM is finished gonna be getting started on a game that I'm hoping to bring to you guys next month.
I also feel i need to apologize for all the delays =/ I really am sorry but my stuff has been straightened out and I'm now gonna have all the time I need to dedicate to my games and kernel/ROM
for those wondering whats taking so long with the rom, I'm having issues with Voltage control and the apps I'm working on (among a few other minor things)...Once I get it usable for you guys it will be out. The apps are whats taking so long, and the bulk of my work has been in them. I dont have tons of java experience so I'm learning as I go and trying to make things work how I want them to....I also got a few friends asking me to port the TW music player and contacts to the G2 so I'm trying to work that in also aswell as SK4G kernel and fixing bitpool =3
This includes bootsound support btw, it doesnt play right on first install, but after you reboot it will. If you want to replace the boot sound just put your file named android_audio.mp3 in /system/etc
Also includes these new ringtones
CutiePie
Galactic Distortion
Sp33D
Strawberries
Sp33Dv2
GalacticV2
Beep Beep
These and the boot sound all courtesy of Nouriel =]

Hey Ecotox I was wondering if there is anyway you can implement the ability to enable voodoo color with the ability to change the color levels in voodoo control app? Simone just enabled voodoo color settings in his Talon JVR GB kernel port so I know it can be done. Why aren't there any Froyo 2.2 kernels that have voodoo color settings enabled like CM7 and Simone's kernel? Is it a limitation of the build or kernel?
It's because the way gamma and color levels are controlled in the froyo kernel are different. I'm working on getting it working though
