AOSP Kernels for HTC's 8x50, 7x30, and 8x60 Devices
Also available for the Motorola Xoom
Tiamat kernels are designed for use on all ROMs that are built from the AOSP source code. This includes ROMs built from MIUI, CyanogenMod, and others.
Tiamat receives no support for use with ROMs based on HTC's Sense - use at your own risk.
Tiamat Kernels

You can find full details about Tiamat Kernels at our website. The site is up and running and serves as a more centralized location to get updates, downloads, and changelogs for all Tiamat Kernels. There is no forum or Registration, it's just a more convenient way to keep things organized as we work to add support for more devices.
Support
Join the Tiamat Kernel developers on IRC at irc.freenode.net, #tiamat. Support and questions are generally handled faster there than the forums. You can easily join via webchat here.
Special Thanks to:
toastcfh, slayher and the CyanogenMod team for the base kernels and everything else they do for the Android community
bcnice20 for generally being awesome
TeamWin for also generally being awesome
netarchy, chad0989, cuviper, and invisiblek for some great code
intersectRaven and redstar3894 for the Mjolnir compiler
JasonK75 for updating threads

I'd rather you not publicly post links to files that I have not publicly shared.

Like I said here, 1.0.3 is still in testing.

Wi-Fi is broken on both kernels. I am running OMFGB.
I'm still looking into this, but it might be a compatibility issue with OMFGB as it is not happening on all ROMs.

Is it working on CM7?
I'm in need of more testers, so if you want to try it out and let me know...

I can't right now... If someone doesn't beat me to it later I will. Thanks for these kernels!

Someone beat you to it and it's no go. I'm working on a fix right now.
Apparently WiFi is working on CM7 MR2 from slayher. Tested with Wifi sleep policy set to never on a wpa enabled WiFi.

Does not support vipermod and Call recording
When they are supported, they'll be listed in the changelog ;p

Works fine for me. Not huge on the kernel in general, but it works fine.
Thanks for testing. This kernel is still pretty new, so keep an eye on it, you might like it more soon.
Yeah, I've been working to get the core bugs ironed out (like this WiFi thing) before worrying about sysfs in the VDD code. I work closely with -viperboy- though (http://vipermod.tiamat-dev.com <-- very closely), so it will get into the code soon.

Score! It works smooth as all get out, and I love the incredibly gradual steps in scaling, so I've got a feeling once I can start screwing with the voltages this thing is gonna be beastly.
What ROM are you on with WiFi working? I'm still thinking the issue might be in working with OMFGB...
Okay, I no longer think the WiFi issue is ROM related. I have one person with it working on radio 1.39.00.0627r, 0.01.69.0625r and one with it not on radio 1.46.00.0704w_2, 0.01.76.0703_2r.

Can others confirm this difference?

I really enjoyed this kernel on my EVO! Any plans to add SBC versions to the Thunderbolt?

Gah!!!

The entire concept behind the SBC modification is something particular to the battery driver used by the Evo and Incredible. It doesn't port to other devices because they use different drivers.
Okay, I have finally tracked down the issue here with tons of help from slayher and thederekj and testers who have been trying every kernel I've thrown at them.

I feel like an idiot for this too: there is something amiss in the any-kernel implementation in the zip, and it is not pushing the bcm module to the device. WiFi will work just fine if you manually push and I am working on fixing the zips. 1.0.3 will be out soon for you.

Any Kernel hates me. If you manually mount /system in recovery, then flash the kernel, it installs properly.

1.0.3 is now live on http://tiamat-dev.com -- after literally hours of tracking down this issue, help from 4 other kernel devs, and 2 very dedicated testers, the WiFi issue is resolved.

With that out of the way, I can go back to working on adding features.

Sorry for the delay everyone.

I've been running this at:

Version- 1.0.3
min-192
max- 806
Gov-smartass

I've been losing about 4% battery in a little over ten minutes with the screen off and data off.

Kang Bang in the same situation doesn't lose any charge, is there something that I could change with the settings? I'd really like to try this kernel, I've heard tons of great things!

Thanks for the help!
Be sure to wipe battery stats when you flash a kernel (mine or any). There are a couple apps that make it easy to do when at full charge (the ideal time). Other than that, check and see if you have some errant program eating up life, or that the cpu isn't scaling down.

anyone have any idea when this 1.1 is supposed to be available for download? hoping it fixes my bluetooth issue, which I assume it will. Callers couldn't here me speak with the new cm7 rc 1.5 and tiamat 1.04.
This is (I expect) not fixed in 1.1.0. This issue is plaguing the TBolt, Inc2, IncS, and Desire S at the moment. Slayher and attn1 (of CM) are working on it, and it is possible that the issue is on the ROM side of things (rather than the kernel), but I know it exists in MIUI (for the non-TBolt devices) as well. No fix yet, but hopefully soon.

I turned it down 2 notches and still noticed a crackle (albeit less pronounced), but was still plenty loud.
Damn libaudio kinks. I wish HTC would just go ahead and release the sourceeeeeee (me and everyone else, I know).
CM recently made some lib changes that seem to have fixed some of the low audio issues a bit more directly than the adjustments on the kernel side. This has skewed the speaker toward being too loud now...

Before the issue was really inconsistent -- some people were fine and others could barely hear anything. So, if the super-high volume is across the board and not hit-and-miss, I can dial it back a bit for the next release. Also, please specify *when* the audio is doing anything -- the values for the speaker, the headset, etc are all set individually -- if the issue is only on one of these, I don't want to mess up the others to fix it.

Thanks skinian. I was here before but there doesn't appear to be a link labeled 1.1.1. 1.1.0 seems to be the most current and this causes reboots with my phone.
1.1.0 dropped some voltage levels and some users were having boot issues because of it. 1.1.1 brought the levels back up a bit, but not a ton. A lot of my Inc2 users were still having issues, so I rebuilt that with the 1.0.4 voltage tables. That table will be included in my next release for all the devices, but if there are widespread booting problems for the mecha on 1.1.1, let me know and I can rebuild it for y'all.
