Cool beans. Have this kernel running CM7 NB143 w/the radio from the 2.19.531.1 RUU, although it's my Nandroid backup right now while I'm trying out the Synergy RC2 ROM. Keep up the good work, and I'll check back for updates.
After looking at the changes you've made for 1.1.0, I'm anxiously awaiting your release of the update to this kernel. The changes you've listed for 1.1.0 are what I'd like to run in replacement of the stock kernel for MIUI v1.8.5, so I'll be waiting patiently and send you good karma from where I sit.
Cool beans. I'll give the very new v1.1.2 a try this week, so thank you for making it available for d/l. Am interested in the direction you're heading down in regards to merging w/ CM7, and I wish you all the best.
Does your kernel support IncrediControl? If so, could you please give me some example IncrediControl settings on the this kernel? I thought I would ask you (or anyone else reading this thread) to suggest UV settings to help battery life. Thanks in advance.
Seriously, thank you so much for this kernel. Ive tried so many different versions of many different kernels, and this current iteration has been the best I've ever experienced. Between the phone calls, texting/MMS, and GPS (Foursquare) use today, I'm down to a little over 1/2 a tank. Whatever you did, it worked this time around; so keep up the good work, and thank you.
Wow. You slipped in another update while I wasn't looking, did you? Well, I'll just have to d/l and enjoy your hard work and SmartassV2 on Tue new kernel. Thank you, again.
Well, it looks like I had to switch back to the 1.1.2 version this morning after suffering from freezes from after making a phone call and from putting the phone into sleep mode, which is a bummer. To include a few notes, the phone would not respond after I clicked the power button to put the phone into sleep, and it would require a battery pull to get the phone operating again; however, it would seize again once I used the phone and it went back to sleep. My kernel settings at that time: 1036/268 SmartassV2 in Wake State and 192/192 Powersave in Sleep State. Even after switching the governor to Interactive, I still experienced the freezes and needed battery pulls so I switched back to v1.1.2.
Hmm. I've been playing around w/TDJ's Sense 3.5 ROM this week, so I won't be able to use this kernel ATM; however, I'm going to download it and save it for when I switch back to a non-Sense ROM. I'm interested to experience and use the LagFree governor and the V(R) IO scheduler.
