EDIT 9/2:
Now introducing the new and shiny JDkernel Updater App. You will have to enable updates in order to use the app. Launch the app and press menu>configuration>Kernel Update Settings and check Display All Kernel Updates and Display Experimental Kernels. (Thanks to jf, segi valez, trock79, firefart and cyanogen for the app)

Question: is one of the various tweaks and optimizations a call volume fix? I am a sucker for a shiny new kernel, but I really like the volume fix.
yes and no. I has raised audio values (included in the stock cm kernel), but not anything like the values in the one that rhcp posted.

I'm bad with tech jargon. What does this have over the others? Which parts are different?
It has a bunch of tweaks that are jdkernel specific (and others that we devs share).

Also, the whole concept of my nightlies is to refine the kernel as much as possible and to track down bugs.

I was wondering about that, haha. I set it to -100 with ViperMod. Seems all good here.

I also noticed, for some reason, smoothass would stick at 768. What's that governor all about? I almost miss the days when there were just three. :p
Smoothass iS a more aggressive smartass.
