EDIT 9/6:
Now introducing the new and shiny JDkernel Updater App. You will have to enable updates in order to use the app. Launch the app and press menu>configuration>Kernel Update Settings and check Display All Kernel Updates and Display Experimental Kernels. (Thanks to jf, segi valez, trock79, firefart and cyanogen for the app)

This kernel is a lean and minimal kernel for the Incredible 2. I will try to update it every night.

Features: New Smartass governor, Undervolted, SLUB unqueued allocater, Readahead buffer increased to 1040, Optimized compiler (compiled with neon and cortex flags) , Lagfree Governor, swap support, smoothass governor, backported conservative and ondemand govs from 3.0 rc7, backported wifi driver from 3.0 rc7, cpuidle code from 3.0 rc6, minmax governor, interactiveX governor, vdd leves interface, call recording, wireless charging support, V(R) IoSched, lowered wifi voltage, raised GPU allocation, audio values based off Cayniarb's, JHash3, Automated per tty task groups patch , other various tweaks and optimizations.

Got it! Thanks! Working great.
Dude this kernel rocks. I just ran a quadrant for piss and giggles and scored a 4018. Whatever you're doing keep it up! No problems on this end.

Wow I'd love to know how u got that. 3880 is the highest I've ever got btw

Benchmarks: 245 min, 1920 max, performance governor
1: 2889
2: 3290
3: 3651
4: 3765
5: 3880
6: 3838
7: 3785
Break time for a min (now smartass gov for the hell of it, same min/max)
8: 2795
9: 3225
10: 3320
and one more on performance, again for the hell of it
11: 3400
Boring morning of class haha :p

@Ryan just because your phone can hit 1.9 ghz doesn't mean it will perform well. I had my processor at a min/Max of 1.2-1.6.

Just keep in mind that quadrant is just a benchmark. Real world experience means a lot more. That being said my phone seems to like this kernel more than the tiamat kernels. Better battery life, snappy performance at stock and it plays extremely well with OMFGB
Just loaded up this latest and getting quadrant in the 3500 range at 1.5ghz. As before with my device, higher clocks do not result in higher scores.
Given that, the user experience is as speedy as the famous banned mouse of looney toons. Fast!

My quadrant scores max out at around 1.7 GHz. If I go to 1.9 I get occasional lock ups.
My quadrant scores go up as I raise the OC. All the way up. Each higher frequency results in higher scores. 1.92 is perfectly stable, but I stick with 1.5 or 1.6 regularly.
I stick to stock frequencies. I haven't seen a reason to overclock yet.
jdkoreclipse,

thanks for the quick reply.. is there a standard deviation that you have across the board from stock voltages up to 1ghz? like -25?

i'm just trying to figure out what our chip was rated at by default at the low and high end...

thanks again for the quick reply.
I'm using stock voltages. I tried undervolting -50 and -25, but my phone lagged out.

However, if you're interested in undervolting, my kernel utilizes the vdd levels, so you can use incredicontrol app.
man thank you thank thank you. this kernel has literally doubled my battery life and is blazing fast. I'm not undervolting at all and I'm running at 1.4 and my battery is still better than when I was undervolting and underclocking on another kernel. this is the best dinc2 kernel out there hands down. bravo sir awesome job
Awesome kernel! However I noticed the left audio channel is far quieter than the right (very noticable with headphones on). Anyone else experiencing this? At first I though it was my headphones but I went back to Tiamat and the issue went away. Kind of a bummer because I use my phone to listen to music while I work out. Otherwise I have little issues with the 9-6 nightly...
I ran the 9/6 version for 2 days and it was amazing on performance, but I WIFI kept shutting off anytime I tried to download something for more than 5 seconds. Web pages loaded fine, but actual downloads caused it to die. Also it switched to airplane mode twice and required a reboot to get out of it. I really hoped it would be great as it started that way. Back to Tiamat for now as that and your kernel are the only AOSP kernels that I have found you can actually hear out of the speakerphone and earpiece. All the other AOSP kernels are way too quiet.

If you get a chance, could you post a changelog for us?

Anything yet? Ready to flash, just wanna make sure voltages haven't changed...
Is Smartass v2 going to be included in an update?
