jcase did find an unlock file in the latest ruu that he has, but we can't use it without a key from HTC. But this file has nothing to do with it

This has nothing to do with the hboot file people are talking about. This is a diag image used to s-off phone + radio with use of a eng sim. If you dont understand this. Please do google it. Im trying to get enough donations to get a box to maybe crack this. Im about 25 bucks away. I hope this helps.

Does anyone know where to get the htc mecha cable? I saw a few show me a link. But , i never looked because i didnt have one. Also if anyone knows a cheaper source

Thanks. That covers the full cost from ebay. Should get it near sept? it says too bad. From xtclip.com its like $108. Worth the wait to save half i guess.

You think this will ever amount to much

It was actually the most used image "version" on the G1 for bootloaders and such. Took all that push this, flash that, downgrade, upgrade nonsense and made it fast. Like 5 minutes after you got the device fast and the phone would be not only unlocked in bootloader, but network unlocked.

I thought since the person said jcases RUU, it meant another hboot file. I am pretty familiar with all of this. And wish I could donate, but no job. =(

Yea, me too. As noted on the ebay. the box itself wont get here for a month. or so.
