Well recently I decided for the hell of it, I'm rooting my LG Ally. I see many benefits for doing so and who wouldn't? Adfree, CPU over & under clock, and a sh** load of custom ROMs to basically turn your device into a handheld computer.
Anyway's, I was wondering what root I should go with and a understandable manual that doesn't take a computer science master to read. I've jailbroke iPods and other apple products, so I'm familiar with giving certain permissions to the device that it normally shouldn't, on the device. This time it's google android and I don't want to brick my only phone. Help would be appreciated!
