Well... the roku has finally started to fail on us, and I believe that calls for something else to watch netflix. I was looking into google tv and I wanted some reccomendations between the revue and the sony thing.

Here's what I'm looking for:
1. Rootability (how easy/hard/possible is it to root... and can the bootloader be unlocked?)
2. Community (yeah... the community behind both of them is lacking, but which one has the bigger one)
3. Is it OK? Does netflix stream flawlessly on it?
4. Price
5. Single remote for everything

Here's what I don't really care about
1. DVD/BluRay

Honestly, I'd try to find a old either shelf display or something of the Google TV blu ray. I personally have the 46 sony Google TV and Google TV hacker came out with a software root for the sony devices, the logitech devices required a hardware root (and I mean hardcore hardware root, the had to solider a new USB input to it). Only problem with the sony devices is that the root was patched with the most recent update. I have 2 shelf displays at my work, one I can get for a bill but its scratched like hell. The other is newish but they both don't have the remote. But both are root able. If you're interested I'd be willing to buy it and send it your way for the same price I paid.. I think you deserve to have a Google TV that can play hulu and NBC whenever you want on a honeycomb TV like me
