I run "Task Changer" on my CM7 TP and I noticed that after a fresh boot that I have 618 MB of RAM, and everything seems to run smoothly. After about 2 days of opening, running, and closing apps. I noticed that my available RAM has been whittled down to 256 MB, and apps. start to become unstable and my wifi connection starts connecting and disconnecting.

Somehow I think that the reduction of available RAM has something to do with a lot of the issues a lot of people are having with their TP's becoming buggy.

Like I said, when I do a reboot everything runs like a clock.

Do you think this might be an issue the developers should look into?

Task Changer isn't a memory manager. It's more a task switcher tool.

As for the memory leak, it's possible. For myself, I haven't seen it do that though so you might want to examine the apps you have installed.
