First off, let me apologize for sounding like a God damn rookie, But, how do I install this? Do I compress these into a zip and then flash it from recovery? Thank you in advance!

No, don't do that, it won't flash. These are just the raw files.

I don't think this is possible, maybe I'm wrong but I thought the kernel made it so only 10% increments could be obtained.

It works just fine, amazingly. I was in the same boat as you till I saw it and was like, well why not try it. And it works.
