Now you can change your ugly CM10 weather icons to the pretty AOKP weather icons!

This will not work in cwm 6xxx. (Touch or not)
It will work in sk8rwitskil's 6xxx.

This should work on any device. The boot animations are constrained to 800x480 devices, and the inverted stuff is constrained to jellybean. Please Lemme know if you link in another devices forum though!

Quick Description! Flash this from recovery at any time to personalize your AOSP ROM (Like cm10 or AOKP based ROMs) You don't have to wipe any caches. You can change the system font, the boot animation, and a few more features. You can also flash this immediately after a new ROM and conveniently flash gapps, the agps patch by crypted, add root browser, tibu, and rom manager.. or fix permissions right away with a script from realpariah and minotauri. You flash this as many times as you want. Anytime you want to change something, just go to recovery and flash again.

PERSONALIZE YOUR ROM IN A FLASH! (That's almost as clever as "Kang of all Kangs")

I want to express an extra huggy thanks to Team Passion for not objecting (openly, anyway) to my blatant exploiting of their Chimera installer as a template for this.

Instructions: flash the zip from recovery and it will open. Choose your menu items, pick your theme. Straightforward from there, really. Just pick what you want to install. You can leave anything you don't want unchecked, if you check something by accident, there is a "do nothing" choice in every selection group.

Note!! Aroma will likely freeze in official CWM 6.xxx recovery. It will work in sk8rwitskil's 6.xxx recovery, and some features may not work in TWRP.

1.57 changelog-
removed my attempt at inverted gapps with the messed up google now and replaced them with travp624's 10/16 inverted gapps

1.47 changelog-

Added option to change lock screen and notification drawer weather icons to either AOKP or CM10 (credit to armyvet66629 for having this great idea)

inverted gapps I pieced together myself, might be WIP still (lemme know of any issues please)

Changed to aroma 2.51 binary. Should be more compatible with other devices now
Brought back colorfix. Seems to be working for me so far. Still, just in case, versions that end with the number 6 include the colorfix, versions that end with 7 do not.

.797 change log (posted out of sequence, this was more or less one of my test builds till now)
Added team passion's morph script to invert systemui and framework Res.
This one is still for cm9 based stuff. Decided to post it since I posted .807 but there is still a demand for cm9 mods. Note: the team passion inversion script does NOT break anything in cm9 (that I'm aware of anyway)

Finally found a solution. If you install regular gapps before inverted, & search stays non-inverted, you need to go to manage apps and uninstall Google search from there. I'll also try typo find a way to accomplish this in the updater script.
Next version will have 4.2 stuff.

From what I understand, the thread was shut down & locked more than once - everything from what were viewed as noob questions (mods?), insults, trolling - trying to sidestep the efforts of the Devs, to get people to read at least some of the instructions - according to justin860, there's 5 mods monitoring the thread + any mods that are using the aroma theme = circus :)

Ah..

Well, that thread isn't device specific. And that circus was partly the reason I didn't move my thread when I realized this worked on other devices besides the skyrocket. Skyrocket is like galaxy as 2.5, and the small following doesn't need so many mods. Justin is quite honestly a lot more committed than I am (and probably a lot better). Once you have that much attention there's an obligation to maintain your shit. I don't want that obligation myself. I haven't developed anything in this myself, it's all stuff from other devs. From the beginning, I took armyvet and mahausrath's (wherever he got off to) chimera installer (that they got from jaydub who got it from ngiordano who got it from djsound begat begat begat....) and figured out how to make something for myself to customize aosp ROMs once I discovered them. Mostly because I really hate the roboto font. Then I thought I might like to start a thread. Even now this could be more up to date than it is but the thread over at xda barely gets a nod (which I don't mind) and well... you're practically the only participant in this one. When 4.2 stuff starts rolling out in speed I'll probably update, but mainly as what I would use, not for the entire xda (or rootz) community to make demands and troll and dicksquat and otherwise make a circus of.

I dunno what that is I can't Google the specs. If your screen resolution is 800x480 then yes it will. If you have a different screen res, then everything except the boot animations will work. That said, the gapps are outdated so use other ones. I guess justunbeans are the most favored inverted gapps out there, you'll find a link some pages back.

I think that he's just referring to Orthus 7, AS a beast ;-)?

Yeah, justin's gapps & aroma are pretty good, but aroma jelly is very easy to use, may not be the most up to date - but it'll do most of what you want, you just have to pick & choose ;-)

I kinda wish he'd keep his inverted apps apk filenames the same as inverted (like everyone else does) it sort of messes up what I had in mind to do with this. But yeah, other than that seems a lot more stable than last time I tried them. (The guy is committed for sure, and I promise I don't envy the responsibility

I also gotta say, that while I certainly understand that people don't want to answer the same questions, over & over, AND people wanting to use apps whether they be applications or themes, that thread is one of the least forgiving, when it comes to questions..... :)

Sort of. Like Google music is usually data/app/com.android.Google.music-1 or 2.apk or else maybe system/app/music2.apk, but his is like data/app/GooglePlayMusicInverted.apk or something. If I wanted something I added to work with his stuff I'd have to install everything on both cm and aokp on every one of his updates and rewrite my scripts to match. It probably isn't as much trouble as I'm making it sound though I could just be procrastinating on my own overdue update...
