After much success with the Slim Soft Keys i think its time to start a new thread for all users to keep track of which version they need.These are currently only for Gummy Rom and i will keep them as updated as possible.

IMPORTANT NOTES
:-Each SSK mod is specific to the version of gummy that you are on. Please make sure you are flashing the correct version
-If you are going to update your current version of Gummy without wiping data and currently have an SSK mod make sure you re-flash your current version with cache wipe to clear out the mod or you will most likely bootloop
-Do not flash this until you have at least booted into the rom once. If you flash at the same time as the rom you'll boot loop
-YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Instructions:
-Back up your current rom
-Reboot to recovery and wipe Cache Partition and Dalvik Cache
-Flash mod
-Enjoy
-As of Gummy 1.0.1 soft keys will now be enabled and disabled by the power button menu instead of gummy settings. (May still require reboot to prevent glitches)

The mod itself should slim down the apex dock. See screenshot in OP for example

There's not a lot of difference in the apex mod but it is definitely noticeable compared to stock. It just eliminates the excess space on top and below the icons. There's no way to adjust it more without reducing the size of ALL of the app icons in the system. And there is no way to adjust the size without editing the values and recompiling the app. Sorry

Yeah. If you want to keep using the mod then you can install another launcher(any) then uninstall apex and reflash the zip. Don't delete apex tho without installing another launcher. My laptop decided to die a few days ago so hopefully I can fix it soon and continue to update.

Edit: umm looks like that doesn't work for some reason. I'll look for a work around for now for those that want it.

K. I was able to get my laptop to run long enough to update Apex Launcher mod. It had a hard time installing after the new update so to get it to install u will need to
re-flash Rom and gaaps with cache wipes/Reboot
Flash ssk/apex mod/reboot
Flash updated apex
Go to apex settings/dock settings/vertical margain/slim and good to go. I will add it to the op when I can get my comp on a good day again and find out why install was being rejected after updating from market.
If you have not updated in the market just flash like normal

Yeah. No ssk for nightlys. Haven't been able to make any since my PC took a dump. Hopefully I can figure something out soon to keep them updated but even then I probably won't keep them up for nightlys.

You should get that when clicking apex mod. I have split up the soft keys and apex mods so if you want the slim keys try the ssk mod link

Edit: or are you looking to find the latest apex 1.1.1 modded. If so I have not updated that one yet. I screwed that one up and have to wait for PC to cooperate again.

No. The apex mod isn't build specific like the soft keys. It doesn't modify any framework like the slim keys do and therefore will work on any version of gummy and probably other rooms as well if they come with apex launcher. The only time you may have trouble is if you have updated apex from the market but this won't cause boot loop it just won't install properly but can be fixed by reflashing rom and gapps with a cache wipe then flashing mod

Hmmmm. I just flashed it and options there for me.

Using root browser check your data/apps folder. Do you have a com.anddoes.apexlauncher.apk or something similar?
