JakebitesModsv18 for all ROMS with the D2/DX OTA GB Kernel

This can be flashed over any new OTA GB ROM unless the kernel changes!
Guys and gals, if you like my mods please mark as installed and rate! It makes me happy.

Warning:
This is ONLY for the DROID 2 AND DROID X ON THE OTA GB KERNEL.

If you flash this onto a:
D2G
Droid 2 froyo kernel
DX froyo kernel
Droid 2 GB LEAK Kernel (Get the OTA!)
you will bootloop due to the way the InteractiveX Governor has to be activated.

Hello there, I have a serious problem, I tried installing this and my phone just keeps Turning off and on. I recently just installed cw7 but it didnt have overclock on it. Now wont turn on just off and on. Any help please?
You have not provided nearly enough info for anyone to even begin to help you. What device, OS version, ROM release, JBM package, etc etc.
Firstly, i read this: http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#intro =lol Joeblow..NICE link!! I'm gonna save that page FOREVER! XD

Intro: Hi, I just got a Droid 2 -currently with stock 2.3.4 and .621....(i'm just about to flash the Nis 7/19 build)

Where does a NOOB begin reading about Jakebitesmods?? I started at page 1..lol..not much there to decipher as far as what all the features in this mod are.. I'm quite good with computers and not a beginner when it comes to reading code and following directions. I am not lazy either...so, where do I read about using this mod, and what all of its features/options are?

Also, i couldn't find a working link for boostedASSv2. the https://www.dropbox....SSv2-signed.zip -is no longer working.
And...this is supposed to be used with the xless version of JBM...but i could not find a working link for that either...Anyone have working links?

I will do like noobs do, and say: Sorry for my noob questions! XD I will appreciate any information...it is a daunting task to read the 107 pages of this thread to catch up! ...but i think in the 3 hours i have spent thus far..i have made a good dent! XD

Well, I'm not really qualified to give a substantial answer, but JBM is essentially a compilation of tweaks & mods for better performance (memory, overclocking, etc). I flashed it since folks smarter than me said it was worthwhile. You flash the zip through CWM, then once rebooted, you open up Terminal, type su & enter, and then type modcentral & enter to enable/disable whatever mods you want with it & reboot. I'm pretty sure it'll work on 621 the same as 601, but you let us know.

As for boostedAssv2, never used it, but I think I found a flashable copy through google (attached). Regarding "xless", I think all you'd really have to do there is open (not unzip) the JBM zip with 7zip or a similar program & delete the interactivex governor. Technically, there's probably also other files in there that should be edited to remove references to interactivex, but I bet just deleting it would work. Of course, no guarantees on any of this xless boostedAss stuff, as I've never used it.

Dang..lol, now i look like a horses ass!
...surely I could have googled to find the link..DOH!

Thanks again for the answers you have given Joeblow! Maybe I will just stick to Jakesbites until Tom or someone else hops in and explains boostedAss. ..in the meanwhile, I will seek out documentation for it..and let you know if I end up trying it out.
