I'm done with moto officially until I KNOW for a fact that they are unlocked. I can't live with a completely locked down phone. Just isn't going to happen. HTC, LG, Sammy and others will be getting my $$$ from now on...

Yep, I love Moto's build quality, radio quality, etc but the lockdown is ridiculous. Take my DX for example, I love this phone, but I hate the bootloader. It is the ONLY thing I don't like, no other complaints whatsoever. I don't want to deal with this again. My next phone won't be a Moto unless they put Xoom bootloaders on their new phones. I don't have an upgrade until March so we'll see if they change by then. If not, Sammy or LG will get my money. Don't know about HTC, it seems like their recent phones all have some sort of issue, be it battery, bugs, shitty radio, whatever. We'll see. March is a LONG ways away in smartphone time.
