Among all of the announcements that are going on this week, Motorola's is one that most people have been looking forward to. Motorola held a press event today in which they demoed their new products to select members of the press. This evening, (Thursday evening on the West Coast) Motorola has been slowly showing off some of its new products.

Motorola just updated their website for the Moto 360. When you first visit Motorola's Moto 360 page, you see their slogan that simply states "It's time", with the words "Moto 360" and "Available 11 AM CT" underneath it. Motorola's updated site also shows off the specs for their new circular smartwatch. The specs were leaked by Best Buy a few weeks ago, but the official and confirmed specs are as follows:

  • 1.56" screen with backlit LCD and Corning Corilla Glass 3

  • 320 mAh battery with "all day use"

  • wireless charging

  • TI OMAP 3 processor

  • 4GB internal storage

  • 512 MB RAM

  • bluetooth 4.0

  • pedometer and optical heart rate monitor

  • IP67 water resistance rating

  • physical button

There are currently three models that Motorola is offering. There is a light stainless steel case with a gray leather band, a dark scase with black band and a light case with stone leather band. Motorola is also going to be releasing sleeker and more metallic colors later this fall.

The Moto 360 will be available for purchase through Google Play, Best Buy (online and in store) and Motorola at noon on September 5th (on the East Coast, 9am on the West Coast). This circular-faced smartwatch will run you $250. Customers in the UK who wish to purchase the Moto 360 will be paying £199 and will have to wait until early October.
