The Motorola XT5, Orange Boston, Gsmart G1305, XT502, Apanda A60, Vibo A688, Excalibur, A1, A88, Z71, Blaze, Journey, F911 and All other clones Are the same thing and all Rom's etc are cross-compatible with each other.

The first step is Rooting the phone. Rooting your phone is like giving it steroids. The bad part is you void your warranty.

To root your phone download Universal Androot from HERE. Place the downloaded .apk in your SD card and install it.
In case it says installation blocked, go to settings-->applications and then check "Unknown Sources" then try install the app again.
Once you have installed the app launch it and tap permanent root. Once you click Permanent root wait for few seconds then it would display "Woot... your phone is rooted".

The second step is to install Cloworkmod. To do that we need to download an app called "Rom Manager" from market. After installing the app launch it. You will find an option called "Flash Clockwork Recovery", tap on it, a pop up menu comes up asking the model of the phone your are currently using select "Commtiva Z71". The above selection will download Clockwork recovery and flash it with your current recovery.

Your stock Rom will be flashed with Clockwork recovery, which is kinda unstable and buggy, sometime your phone doesnt even boot up.

Instead you could flash your recovery with Clockwork recovery which is stable and not buggy. Ill show you how to flash custom recoveries using fastboot later in this tutorial.

Now, open RomManager and click on "Backup Current ROM".Which will reboot your phone into recovery and make a backup of your phone (Backup includes everything thats there in the phone including SMS's , cache, Everything)

Now your phone is ready for whatever you might want to do with it.
Now that you have your phone rooted and have clockwork recovery flashed you can go ahead and start flashing with Cyanogenmod. Download the latest mod from HERE. This page has all the mods released by Cyanogen team including nightly and stable mods. Download the one you want and place it in the root of your SD card.

To flash your stock rom with Cyanogenmod:

Switch off your phone and then press and hold "Camera+ Vol.UP + Power" together to boot into recovery menu, then select the option (using volume keys) called "Wipe Data and Cache" let the operations continue, then select flash zip from SD card, then click choose zip from SD card and then browse your SD card for the .zip file you have downloaded and select it my pressing the trackball, then click Yes to flash the zip and wait for the operations to get completed. Once the operation is done touch the back button to come back to main menu and click reboot phone now. You now have CyanogenMod.

Now the next step is to install Google Apps, Download the File and flash it like you did with the cyanogenMod's zip. i.e Via recovery. Same exact method. Cyanogenmod 7 (Gingerbread Rom) download HERE

Your Phone is now ready. If you want to flash a Custom Rom. Download it, Place it on SD, wipe data and flash it just like you flashed cyanogen mod or google apps.

This is the second part of the tutorial which little advanced compared to previous one, But stille very very easy. This part will teach you how to use FASTBOOT commands, how to install .nb0 files.

Before we continue you need to download "android-sdk-windows" from HERE .
This SDK collection includes all functions including ADB, FASTBOOT etc which are not included in the SDK downloaded from Google's site.

Once you have downloaded the SDK extract the folder onto the root of your Windows drive. example C:/android-sdk-windows/

Here are some of the basic commands of fastboot.
usage: fastboot [ ] <command>

update <filename> reflash device from
flashall 'flash boot' + 'flash system'
flash <partition> [ <filename> ] write a file to a flash partition
erase <partition> erase a flash partition
getvar <variable> display a bootloader variable
boot <kernel> [ <ramdisk> ] download and boot kernel
flash:raw boot <kernel> [ <ramdisk> ] create bootimage and flash it
devices list all connected devices
reboot reboot device normally
reboot-bootloader reboot device into bootloader

-w erase userdata and cache
-s <serial number> specify device serial number
-p <product> specify product name
-c <cmdline> override kernel commandline

Flash a specific partition of phone with custom image file.

Example to flash your current recovery with the latest recovery
1. Switch off you phone and then press and hold Endcall + Vol.DOWN + Power
2. On top left corner it shows enter fastboot mode
3. Connect your phone to the computer, if you are using Windows 7 or Vista drivers for fastboot will be automatically be installed or else you will have to download from your Manufactures site.

Download the image file that you want to flash with your phone and place it in C:/android-sdk-windows/tools/ .

4. Press the shortcut keys "windows logo + R ", and type in "cmd" (without "").
5. A black boring window open, now type in these commands
(i) cd C:/android-sdk-windows/tools (Or cd into the location where you have saved the android-sdk-windows)
(ii) fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (here recovery.img is the image file that I want to flash with my phones current recovery partition. Specify the correct partition and correct image file that you want to flash with or else it could create big problems)

(iii) fastboot reboot ( reboots phone normally)

Done.. these are the basic commands you need to know in case you screw up your phone.

Some extra tools and files you may need::

1. Clockwork Recovery latest download HERE
2. Z71 Tools download from HERE

And thats Pretty Much it. And thanks to Tejaswi Rohit For the original Tutorial.
