[ODIN][EH09 SHOWCASE] Cellular South Gingerbread - Rooted, custom update flash

First off, yes, USCC, Cell South, and Ntelos, are all using the EH09 base for their build for Gingerbread, so this could get a little confusing.

I can't say that this is the final build, because we all know how CS is with things. What I can say is that USCC is obviously flashing phones with their EH09 already. I personally know that they are very strict on testing, so it should be good to go.

This is a custom rooted update flash. What that means, is that it is a stock build that has been rooted and is only the system, kernel, and modem. I chose to leave out the recovery because it's a pain for everyone to have to re-flash their custom CWM recovery. It just saves you time.

I recommend that you do a wipe data/factory reset before flashing.

Boot in to download mode.

Flash in ODIN.

Profit.

Cellular South EH09 Gingerbread - rooted - do not repartition with this build.

GPS fix - Thanks Baked Tator

Figured I had been sitting on it long enough, and I finally had a good enough connection to upload stuff.
I am curious if anyone has installed this and had problems with GPS. I wiped everything while on H57, odined this, and everything but GPS seems to work. I then wiped and flased the EE25 modem with no luck. Now I have wiped everything and odined EH09 again but still have no GPS. I can turn GPS on but the satelite symbol never appears in the statusbar and never connects when using Nav. None of the GPS aid programs have any effect either. Any ideas / suggestions? Thanks
fantastic job posting this, I'll let you know if I notice any issues.
Everything seems to be working fine except for Gps.
GPS issue noted, I did get maps to see where I was at when I enabled it to use wireless networks. Also, I can't send sms over 140 characters, even with handcent.

Thank you so much, I still really like it!
I am unable to get my Showcase to boot after flashing this. (just blank screen) I was able to reflash EE25 in odin and it worked fine. I re-downloaded this zip file and flashed in odin again with no luck.
I was previously on the Froyo EE23 PNP

edit:

got it flashed tonight. I suspect that I may have had re-partition checked in odin last night.

thanks again phidelt!!!
I'm on the road atm, but will be looking in to these issues as soon as I get to my hotel. I'll update with progress hopefully by 9pm tonight. I've got a logcat of the GPS issue, and just need a couple more hours to get to Dallas so I can crack it open.
Thanks phidelt82 you are awesome. Runs great. Fast and sweet.
Still looking into the GPS issue. logcat was no help. I have a couple more things to check and recheck. I'll post more tomorrow. If anyone can confirm GPS working on their Showcase, please let me know.
Mesmerize users reported being able to use GPS after flashing a GPS fix for a previous Odin package. Not sure if that is similar issue or not.
I just flashed the GPS fix posted by Baked Tator and my GPS is now working on my Showcase. Thanks both to phidelt82 & tator for their hard work.
I am new and learning as much as possible still. How do I flash a GPS fix onto the phone and which file might work with the mesmerize. I am getting more savy with each step so go easy. thanks
Flash this from cwm for gps fix

Also, has anyone gotten adobe flash working yet? Tried updating to latest version and rebooting; no luck. Edit: whoops, plugins were disabled on browser settings. It works fine.
Gps fix worked. Thanks. I also cannot get flash working.

Did you try what I mentioned in my edit? (enabling plugins under browser settings)
