CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
<br />
#include<br />
/*<br />
* Your warranty is now void.<br />
*<br />
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,<br />
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please<br />
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM<br />
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if<br />
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.<br />
*<br />
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading<br />
* cause of male impotence.<br />
*/<br />
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Thanks man. Also, do you know anything about nandroids breaking Wifi? I reverted to stock and my wifi wont turn on. Should I try that the wifi fix for this rom?
Same thing happened to me, I ended up flashing the .29 blob file in recovery. Fixed all the broken stuff from my failed restore.

Huh, how did you do that? I tried earlier and it failed. I wanted to dd it earlier but a second nandroid fixed my Wifi
You can't flash the blob file directly. Keep it in the zip file once you unzip the first time. The zip inside the zip is what can be flashed in cwm.

I'm guessing these the ones from XDA, I tried the one from ASUS and it was only zipped once. I'll probably have to compress them myself

Edit: Of course it's because I'm on a Mac. It likes to extract every zip within a zip

Yeah, it was my Mac extracting it twice. And thanks for the YouTube API, I needed that!
Had the exact same issue on my MBP. Hint though, use Ez7z to get the 2nd zip out of the main zip. Sorry to thread jack OP back on topic I promise. :)
