I've been trying a few kernels lately and haven't noticed too much of a bump in battery...either way. I was wondering what everyone has tried and what seems to work the best for them. I am currently running the latest Bugless beast, and might switch to and from codename android 1.01
Any input would be appreciated =)

Every device reacts differently to different kerenels and the myriad of settings/tweaks available. Your best bet is to try a few and see what works best for you. Some of the good ones you'll want to search and read up on are JDs kernel and Francos Kernel. Both are very well supported.

honestly, it doesn't really matter. i've tried franco, imoseyon, adrynalyne, and plan on trying faux's next. i don't notice much of any difference. i like imo's kernel because i can set the min to 180 without getting the sleep of death.

best battery saver? log off google talk and toggle LTE off when you don't need it.

It seemed like my battery life shot up when I switched about a week and a half ago. Coming from Imoseyon 1.2 on GummyNex. I've also seen a ton of people posting that their battery life has been excellent on his kernel.

Edit: I've been getting 18+ hours with 3+ hours of screen time concistently. I think my best so far is a little over 20 hours with 3h30m screen.

Conservative 250 - 1250 w/ hotplug (one core only at 350)

Faux said he has integrated hotplug like settings to his ondemand and interactive governors so it uses one processor at low load. I run it at 1.06gh and screen off profile with great batt life and no decrease in performance.

Fabolous's ROM with Fabolous' V5 kernel. I go 20 hours, with 4G on at all times, push GMail, auto updates of Words/Hanging with Friends, regularly update Tweetdeck, ~dozen texts per day, etc. A "normal" day of use and I honestly don't even think about the battery.

Give Fabolous a shot!
