PDroid Patches for MIUI wizard0f0s builds:
If you don't know what PDroid is, I recommend you check it out. In short, it's a app that provides privacy from other apps. For more info visit the link below.
http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1357056

The PDroid app is found in the Android Market, not in the flash-able zip.

I will update this whenever a new build is released by wizard0f0s.

Note: bobcaruso pointed out that while using the 2012-01-08-Wizard0f0s, it causes 3G data-loss and toggle issues, until reboot, but then will reappear at some point again.
I am not held responsible if this causes hard to your device, I do not always test them soon as I make and share them. I have made about 6 though, and none have harmed anyone.
Just in case I would recommend making a back up of your current ROM, in case anything go's wrong. They only take up about 500MB but can save you hours of time.

Svyat is making a PDroid patcher for windows. When he's finished with it and it work's, I will not mind at for taking requests of patches. Since it would process much quicker then the Linux VM. And yeah I made one for Liberty as bobAbooey said, we came to the conclusion the ROM was just incompatible with it. But if you would still like to give it a go, which I don't recommend unless you enjoy SBF's, then I can link it haha.

I'm going to give the newest windows version a run this weekend, the first wouldn't work for me. If I get it working, I'll try it on the first liberty release.

He has released 2 updates since the first initial test of the Windows patcher. Honestly, I wouldn't trust the patches at first to be created with it and handed out, without testing one of my current ROM first. I don't doubt the dev, it's just obvious its not perfect yet. And yes I know it's beta, I'm not belittling the dev or anything. But I know that some people don't have high speed internet or unlimited bandwidth, so I wouldn't mind helping out. What takes me 2minutes to download and 10minutes to create a patch, could take someone 1-2 hours.

Oh I didn't know the windows patch maker worked right. I can make it for my OG now.
Thanks for another update though.

Np. It works very good. It took me a whole 3 minutes to make the patches, get MD5s, upload it to dropbox and copy the links. And my processor isn't great.

Does it seem like after flashing the PDroid patch, that battery life doesn't seem as good before flashing it? I'm asking because, I wiped cache and I can't tell if its due to the phone has only been running the ROM for almost 24 hours or if PDroid overwrote something causing battery life to not be as great.

I flashed this right away so I couldn't say. I'm not sure how good my battery life is either since it's been plugged in almost the whole day. I'll see how long I get tomorrow with this patch the the next day without it though. Or you could ask wiz if it would mess it up. I don't think it'd overwrite anything though.

Edit: well I thought I removed Ubuntu, but I found it haha. Just shows how long I haven't used it for. The patch was made with Windows, this time I'm making it with Ubuntu. So if it doesn't work, then I guess it's a ROM incompatibility. I'll have it up in about 15min.

Also, maybe I'm not seeing something, but it seems like PDroid is kinda no longer supported on Ubuntu? I thought that when the app updated, there was a updated patch file to go a long with it, but I no longer see that file for download (I still have it though). So I can't guarantee this patch created with Ubuntu will work either. But I have a Droid 4 now, so I'm gonna back up my X regardless and update it to the new MIUI version and test it myself first

Edit again: I'm in the process of backing up everything on my phone now, but the patches with MD5s are posted. Untested as of now.
