Yes, s-off method is out in that other place. Thanks Indirect for all the testing you did for this, much appreciated.
It's OK to mention XDA. We aren't like that. :rolleyes:

If the hardware fails or you sell the device. There is a method to return to stock and restore the security flag back to prior.

For both of those, no one really cares if your device is s-off. Typically they wont even know how to check for that. So again, no need to reset s-off. It just means that its an engineering device.
