Don't know if this is specific to my touch pad but when i try to download the new google music from market it says package is not signed correctly and wont install. Can anyone confirm this? Also, when I set a custom wallpaper for the lock screen it doesnt show it, anyone else?

I'm trying to update moboot from 3.3 to 3.4. For some reason I can't get it. I got alpha running know problems a couple of weeks ago. I'm running linux. I copy the new version into the directory of acme installer. Run the nova command from the prompt while in the right directory and webos recovery (white usb symbol). Immediatly upon issuing the command the tp just reboots and shows the hp symbol. Any help?

Has anyone been able to use the samba app successfully with ubuntu? I can't seem to get it to work.

Big problem. Tp 32gb wifi only, alpha 3. I went to setup the lock screen to display a custom image. The image is a 2.5mb jpg. I rebooted and now im in a bootloop at the animation. Went into webos and deleted the image. Wiped dalvik and cache in cwm. Still boot loops. Had this problem on nc cm7, deleting the image fixed it. Turned out the jpg can only be so large. Hoping somebody can come up with a fix for me. Thanks

Does anybody know of a way that I can disable the lock screen from cwm/adb. Check out my post a few screens above. When I boot the home screen flashes, then reboots immediatly as it tries to show the lockscreen. I would really prefer not to have to wipe data. Damn it, I will never select a custom image as a lockscreen wallpaper again. Maybe it's the pic of my daughter, she is so cute the tp can't stand it.

j/k I've tried deleting the image, and swapping it out for another one with the same name (in webos). Best thing i can figure is i just need a way to disable it. Or its a wipe

Just got 2 32GB refurbs through the HP ebay sale!!! I've had the 16GB for a while, but I consume so much video, it's not enough space. So happy this worked out.

Question -- if I nandroid my 16GB, can I install CM7A3 to the 32GB version, then restore it to my current configuration and apps? Or is it more prudent, just to go from scratch in this situation?

Unfortunately in my experience you cannot transfer a backup to a different device. There is something about .android_secure that makes it go wonky. Use titanium backup for your apps. Clean installs are nice anyways.

i flashed xron just for kicks... now when i flash alpha 3.5 over it everything force closes. fc's if i flash back to a3 too. go back to xron and all is fine. any ideas without starting from scratch. i really just want to flash 3.5. thanks

I had no luck upgrading from xron to 3.5. Most all apps fc immeditatly. I tryied a variety of things including clearing caches. I reflashed xron over the 3.5 attempt and all is well. I need a working tablet for today. Tonight I'll probablly use tb and wipe data. Honestly I flashed xron just for something to do. I've been playing with tablets long enough to know that it was just a hightly themed cm7, but i wont do that again. This is the first time one has ever stopped my from upgrading...

Oh well, off tomorrow. Maybe a full wipe.
