Remind me, guys ~ (Alpha 2.1 update was like a month ago)

Download the Alpha 3 zip file, put it on Touchpad, and then restart to moboot

Then install using ClockworkRecovery, correct?
After downloading, hold power button on TP until power key menu appears, select Reboot, then select recovery.

In clockwork recovery I recommend you make a backup first.

Then wipe cache and dalvik cache. Do NOT wipe data.

After that, use the install zip from SD card option, browse to the zip, and select it.

How did you install? If you used cwm, did you wipe cache or data?

If my TP currently has 15GB of free space, should I delete some of my files before backing it up in CW to avoid running out of space?

--

Never mind. Backup was completed and I finished flashing new a3 zip.
BTW, how do I know if mine's running A3?

Kernel Version says 2.6.35-palm-tenderloin [email protected] #37

Build number is GRJ22

Is mine on A3?

-- Another edit

I feel so dumb now. I forgot to look at the Mod Version, which says I'm on CyanogenMod-7.1.0-tenderloin-alpha3

Short answer: You'll be fine.

Long answer: Just FYI, CM will never take any more than a couple hundred megabytes installed. Most updates are not additions, but corrections to code. Either way, it's a good point. Does the update structure of CWM check for available storage?
