Replacement

Hey guys, know this kind of doesn't quite fall under carrier stuff, but I have an insurance replacement Inc 2 coming in (my screen got shattered, aluminum bezel is gone). The kicker is that it is rooted and whatnot. Should I try to return it back to stock before sending to Asurion, or does it really not matter with them?

Since it's a hardware malfunction and not a software issue, I don't see why it would be a big deal if it's rooted. With that said, it's always smart to return your phone back to stock before returning it since it's one less thing they can fuss about.

That was my line of thinking. I know the last time I had to do an insurance claim was with my Eris 2 weeks after they came out, so I didn't have to even worry about root. I guess I'll try and get it back to stock, hopefully it won't get bricked while doing so, since there have been a couple of issues doing so. Either that, or I'll flash a stock rom
Put it back to stock.
